JANET Moonshot Technology Pilot Workshop - 11 & 12 October 2011

Videos of presentations from this workshop are now available from the links below.

Objective

The objective of the JANET Moonshot Technical Pilot workshop is to support the JANET community by providing delegates with an opportunity to learn about deploying and using the Moonshot technology. The workshop will focus on the use of the technology for authentication and authorisation to e-Research infrastructures and services.

The workshop will provide delegates with the knowledge necessary to participate in the JANET Moonshot Technical Pilot, including software installation and configuration. Delegates will be able to install and configure the software, and participate in a Campus deployment planning exercise to encourage consideration of other factors when deploying the technology and participating in the Technology Pilot.

Audience

The intended audience of this workshop are staff engaged in delivering and supporting Campus RADIUS and e-Research services and infrastructure, but delegates working in other disciplines are welcome to attend.

The workshop is intended for delegates affiliated with JANET-connected organisations. However we also welcome delegates from outside of this community (either within the UK or elsewhere) who are interested in attending. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide free accommodation to these delegates, although accommodation can be requested from the venue at registration.
